New Year’s Detox

January is normally the time when people feel they need to get back to healthy living after the excesses of December!

We were all a bit sluggish coming back after the Christmas break, so I have shared this refreshing green juice recipe with the team to pep us all up.

Great to help release excess water retention, ease bloating, and re-balance sodium levels 🙂

Ingredients:

1/2 cucumber

2-3 stalks of celery

Large handful of spinach or Kale (or both!)

Juice of 1 unwaxed lemon

Water to taste

(Makes 1-2 glasses)

 

We have a juicer in the studio so we use this to juice up everything but the lemon (although you can add this whole to the juicer if you like).

We prefer to use a manual lemon juice squeezer as this can prevent bitterness.

Once everything is juiced, just mix it up and add as little or as much water as you like!

 

Detox done.
